The Breeder
Why Choose Margaret's Mastiffs?
At Margaret's Mastiffs, we take pride in being a superior breeder, going above and beyond to provide exceptional value to our clients. By taking extra steps, we ensure that our dogs are not just beautiful, healthy, and intelligent, but also loving, well-adjusted, and ready to become cherished members of their new families.

Superior Facilities
Our puppies are brought up in a clean, safe, and temperature-controlled environment. Care for our dogs doesn’t stop at the quality of their indoor and outdoor play spaces. Of paramount importance is the cleanliness and comfort of their whelping boxes and living quarters. We’re dedicated to providing fresh bedding twice daily and ensuring their living areas are always clean.
What truly sets us apart is our dedication to enhancing the value of our dogs by raising them in a loving home environment, receiving individual attention, training, and early socialization.

We start crate training our puppies as early as 4 weeks. This helps the puppies become familiar with the crate and prepares them for a smooth transition to their new homes. Many of our customers tell us their puppy sleeps in their crate, without any whining through the whole night on their very first night home.
Crate Training

We prioritize the comfort and well-being of our puppies, which is why we incorporate sleep training into their daily routine. We play calming classical music to help create a routine that can be recreated in their new home for an easier adjustment.
Sleep Training

We start basic training, including teaching the "sit" and recall commands with every puppy. By introducing basic commands early on, we help them develop obedience skills and lay the groundwork for their future training and obedience.
Command Training

We start potty training from day one by utilizing turf in the puppies' whelping box. This not only provides a designated area for the puppies to potty, but also helps them develop a preference for using the outdoors for their bathroom habits.
Potty Training
Our puppies are handled daily and exposed to humans of all ages. Our customers see the difference in the effort we put in to socialize our puppies from an early age and often report their new family member is calm, confident, and comfortable around new people and other dogs.
Early Socialization

We understand the importance of sound desensitization for our puppies' development. We gradually expose them to various sounds and household items to help them become accustomed to, and less fearful of, different stimuli.
Sound Desensitization
We incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) in our puppy-care regimen, a practice proven to enhance cardiovascular health, improve stress tolerance, and boost disease resistance. By utilizing ENS, we ensure our puppies develop robust physical and emotional well-being.
